Pennsylvania high school boys wrestling's District 1 AAA Duals mostly wdsent according to script Thursday, and the eight winners are now set to compete in the quarterfinals on Saturday, January 31.
Boyertown defeated Central Bucks West, 47-20, and at 18-1, the Bears are still the favorites to defend their 2025 title in this event. Boyertown defeated Council Rock North, 38-25, in the championship final last year.
The Bears added a first-place finish in the PAC Championships at Norristown Saturday with five individual wrestlers winning titles in their respective weight classes, including Liam Vance (114 pounds), Cole Fogle (145), Carter Stouch (152), J.D. Heiser (172), and Kaleb Dumin.

Three other 2025 quarterfinalists will join Boyertown Saturday in pursuit of the 2026 title. Council Rock South, Garnet Valley, and Quakertown are in the final eight again, and this time around, none of them have to face top-ranked Boyertown before the semifinals. Council Rock South and Quakertown, however, will face off in the next round with a trip to the semifinals on the line while Boyertown will take on Owen J. Roberts.
